Congratulations to the Detroit Tamburitza Orchestra for an unforgetable concert. The program was outstanding. All the groups that performed really did an outstanding job. If you don't like concert music (long hair music) you would have liked what you heard at this concert. The tambura instruments never sounded better. It is refreshing to hear tambura's played like this so you can hear the beauty of the sound and how wonderful these instruments blend together.
The DTO concert committee did a stellar job with ever detail of this event. The Sterling Hotel was pefect accommodations for our stay there and the Banquet dinner dance. The food was terrific. I especially like the center pieces for the tables. They were cakes!! The pens and chocolate bars were nice momentos of the event.
The 50 years of existence is a monumental milestone. Here's to many many more years of success!!
